Gwyneth Paltrow - co-parents & complicated

Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted her marriage to Coldplay's Chris Martin is "complicated".

The actress married the Coldplay lead singer in 2003 and the pair have two children together but her recent comments have some fans questioning whether the pair's relationship is in trouble.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper to promote her recipe book It's All Good, Gwyneth added, "Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father. We are committed co-parents."

The Sun reports that sources close to the couple insisted there was no hint of an impending split saying "They are still very much together."

Back in 2011, Gwyneth admitted her marriage wasn't always "rosy" as she said, "Sometimes it's hard being with someone for a long time."

And last year when asked what was difficult about being wed to Chris, she revealed, "Probably our artistic temperaments.

"Artists are sensitive — there are ups and downs, mood-wise."

Gwyneth, Chris and their kids Apple, and Moses, currently divide their time between homes in the US and London.

Although not a particularly positive endorsement of marriage (or even co-parenting), it does show that with some organisation co-parenting can work well.
