I am a career nanny (over a decade!) and I love my work and love kids. Hobbies include singing, sewing, painting, other crafty stuff, cooking and baking, gardening, travel, camping and just spending time outside in any way. I listen to an obscene number of podcasts and audiobooks every month and have a curious nature and an excellent (often dark) sense of humor. I am an introvert but I have a surprising number of close, long-time friends because I am a loving, empathetic and deeply loyal person.

I have always wanted to be a mom but never met the right person and it feels so daunting to go into such a big endeavor on my own—as a nanny I know exactly how much work it takes to raise kids. I also have nannied for multiple kids born via donor and I think it’s sometimes hard on them to not have access to part of their genetic identity. I am just on here to explore some alternative ways of realizing this dream.
