I was born with sma which is a muscle wasting condition but is only passed on if both parents are carriers which can be checked with a blood test. i can't see me having my own family so it would be great to help others start their own. As much as I would love to have a child of my own it wouldn't feel fair on my child as my condition is life limiting I just don't know how much by, but to be able to help someone bring a life into this world would be amazing.
