Hello there,

I am a 27 year old woman. I split up with my partner whom I was planning to have a baby with last year but have found myself still wanting to have a baby. I currently work with young people in a rehabilitation setting and I'm also doing a counselling course in the evenings. The next level of my course is a two year one so I was hoping to take a couple of years out to fit having a baby in before that, possibly with an aim to conceive before the end of the year- I would prefer to do it that way around to avoid any possible early menopause (depressing!) I guess I'm looking for someone who could potentially be my best friend to raise a child together and share responsibilities and a co-parent- having a baby alone seems like a lonely prospect and I think it would be a beautiful thing to share even if it's not in the traditional way. I come from a wealthy family who very much support my decision so the financial side is not a priority but I believe every child should (if at all possible) know both parents.
