So I was originally not born in the United States, I was adopted from Guatemala at 6 months. I never knew my birth parents, but I was lucky enough to have been adopted by the most loving family I could have asked for.

Even though I had this, the thought of never getting to know my parents often bothered me. I always told myself that if I ever had kids, I’d be there for them.

Now I’m 21 years old, and am a healthcare provider. I recently thought of becoming a sperm donor, as I can think of no better way to become a part of something bigger than myself.
