IVF Regulation in Switzerland
• The Reproductive Medicine Law (FMedG) bans egg and sperm donation and surrogacy.• Bans embryo freezing and screening even for genetic disorders.
• Allows cyropreservation for Zygotes only (fertilised egg).
• Allows 3 eggs to be fertilised during IVF but all of them must be placed in the mother.
• National Health Plan – none available for IVF.
